Loren stopped in a couple of days ago to give us an update on the status of the show.  It looks like Adult Swim wants them to do another pilot. More details here.

While he was updating us, he also decided to share a couple things: the end theme to Temptasia called "It Was Totally Amazing," and a Quicktime movie called "Party."  Here's Loren's short description of the movie:
nora smith made this. we were testing after effects for another project but used lucy characters for fun.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your attention to the spam account problem we had.  I have now purged all accounts from 11 November through 08 December, except for those of you that informed me that you are not spam bots.  If you did not receive your email or were too late to reply to it, your account was likely deleted and I apologize.  Simply register again under the same name, if you'd like.

I took the original warning off the front page to avoid freaking people out.  To read the original announcement about the spam accounts, click here.

lucybookBrief update:

I should have gotten this up sooner, but Loren Bouchard has reported to us that he's in the last stages of submitting scripts.  One big thing, though: if the show is renewed, it will be 30 minutes long!

So, stay patient and optimistic and keep watching for any updates.

monsterNo Lucy announcement yet, but Loren reported that Adult Swim really liked the first script sent to them.  So we haven't lost hope just yet!  And just to get everyone energized, Lucy is starting a Monday-Thursday run on Adult Swim starting September 1.  Time TBA.  Perhaps, if you continue supporting the show, we'll get some extra episodes sent our way.

The other part of the update is that the episode summaries are finished.  Give 'em a read--many thanks to gayeymcgayface27 and billyarnie for writing them up!

As always, keep your internet tubes directed right here for any updates on the status of the show.

UPDATE (26 August, 2008, 9:49 a.m. ET by itsacoaster): The weeknight run will air at 1:00 a.m. ET beginning the night of September 1.

Just in time for the new year, Adult Swim has lined up each of the episodes from the first season of Lucy, starting Wednesday, January 2 at midnight Eastern time.  It will be airing weeknights; well, actually Tuesday through Friday.  Be sure to tune in and tell all your friends, because this is probably the run that will decide whether or not Lucy gets a second season.

If that much Lucy isn't enough for you, you can watch one episode per week on Adult Swim Video. Watch it a bunch of times!  Link it to your friends!  Embed some clips on MySpace!  Do anything you can to help out the show!

Finally, I've procrastinated long enough.  I finally put up all the downloads from the season finale, Monster, including the clip, opening, and theme song.  Be sure to check out some new episode descriptions which are coming soon, as well as the newly-written Show Premise in the About Lucy section.

Until next time, keep Lucy in your thoughts!

On Season Finale week, we have an awful lot to share with you.  First of all, check out "Monster," the season finale!  That's your first priority.

We also have all kinds of other stuff, some of it requested by fans like yourself.  This is a popular one: Pound My Tom Tom full MP3 available for download!  (This is in place of the MP3 for Episode 110 Theme Song.)

Also requested were the comic book panels from "Special Fathers vs. the Vampire Alter Boys."  Well, we have all four of them, in high resolution!  And, as usual, we have the opening video from "Satan's School for Girls," a clip from that episode, and a promo from the season finale.
